5 Baby-Friendly Holiday Destinations

Having a baby doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to enjoy holidays anymore. It’s actually a great time to travel, as it means that you’ll create memories with your little ones – bar the fact that they won’t remember anything about the trip.

Still, don’t let that deter you from slashing places off your bucket list.

To start you on your journey, here’s a list of baby-friendly places you can consider:

  1. Tokyo, Japan

It’s so baby-friendly it even has an abundance of baby cafes. In case you’re wondering, no, baby cafes are not cafes filled with babies who will crawl around your lap. It’s a place where moms (and dads) can enjoy their free time while they baby freely roam around in a safe area. Family rooms are also located in many larger supermarkets so that moms can nurse or change their babies. Another plus point: Japan is a super clean country!

2. London, England

Parent rooms and changing facilities are easily available here, and many tourist attractions are usually easily accessed by public transport or foot as well. This makes it easy to navigate if you’re bringing along your baby in a stroller. Breastfeeding is also a common sight here, and children under 5 can travel for free on public transport!

3. Montreal, Canada

Montreal is as stroller-friendly as can be. To pacify your child, there are also lots of kid-friendly festivals that take place here throughout the year. Popular attractions like Jean-Talon Farmer’s Market, Clock Tower Beach, and the Botanical Gardens are also family friendly.

4. Tasmania, Australia

Australia as a whole is fairly baby-friendly, with most places being accessible by strollers. People would also gladly give you a helping hand if they see you struggling. But Tasmania, in particular, is a great destination because there are plenty of stroller rentals available. There are also many nature-based tourist attractions so that your baby can breathe in that fresh air 😉

5. Greece

We know, we know. You’re probably wondering how is Greece baby-friendly. But give it a visit and you’ll know that the place is very family oriented. Children can often eat for free in restaurants, stay for free at hotels, and take public transport for free too!
