Cloth diapers are no longer plain, boring, and inconvenient. Nowadays, cloth diapers are easy-to-clean and have been designed to be as easy to use as disposables. Besides that, you no longer need safety pins to hold them together!

Prefold cloth diapers are the OG of all cloth diapers. Although these may not be as convenient as some of the other choices, prefolds are highly affordable and versatile. They are rectangular in shape and can be fastened with diaper fasteners. However, you will need to buy larger sizes as your little love grows.

As The Natural Baby Company puts it, fitted cloth diapers consist of multiple layers of absorbent material (i.e. cotton, hemp and bamboo). And that’s not all, these have leg and back elastic, and are highly absorbent. While fitted diaper cloths do not require folding, it does not have a waterproof outer layer.

Dubbed the first true “modern cloth diaper”, the pocket diaper is made up of a waterproof cover and has a polyester lining that acts as a pocket between the lining and the cover. This allows you to insert an absorbent pad or prefold cloth diaper into the pocket. Moreover, these are easy to fasten on your baby, but it tends to have a bulky and poor fit.
